A device to promote lucid dreaming when you sleep.

The electronics are mounted in a sleep mask, and red leds are flashed to alert the sleeper to when they are dreaming - the light flashes are often incorporated into the sleepers dream and with practice the sleeper can recognise this and realise that they are asleep. With awareness that they are dreaming, the sleeper can start to actively drive their dreams - lucid dreaming.

The electronics is powered by two 3V coin cells, and consists of an Atmel ATmega16 micro-controller, a 2 line by 8 character LCD, push button switches, 2 red leds and an infrared transmitter/receiver to detect eye movement.
