Overview

This is a budget, no-name, Arduino Mega R3 clone with a CH340G used as USB-to-serial interface, rather than the ATmega16U2 used in the genuine Arduino Mega R3. Based around a 16MHz ATmega2560, it is a functionally identical clone of the open source Arduino Mega.

It can use most Uno shields, but some may require additional wiring or configuration adjustments due to differences in pin layouts and communication protocols. The Mega has fifty four digital I/O pins and sixteen analog inputs compared to the Uno's fourteen digital I/O pins and 6 analog inputs. It also has much larger memory - 256kB flash memory for the Mega compared to 32kB for the Uno. So in short, a mega version of the Uno.

Features

  • Microcontroller: ATmega2560
