• Hard drive clock This one uses a hard drive, but fitted a standard commercial clock mechanism.
• I envisage a clock built with the armature acting like a tick mechanism, each time the arm moves back and forth it increments by one second.
• Another idea is to use armatures as hands - different sized ones from different sized drives.
