The case would be water resistant, but would not survive being immersed in water, it is not water proof.
The battery in my sample is rated at 4000mAh, not 8000mAh as stated (and printed on the case).
The solar cell is not really a practical way of charging the battery. In the best conditions, with 100% efficiency it will take 40 hours to charge a 8000mAh battery. So under the best condition, with 8 hours of strong sunshine a day, it would take 5 days to charge. Perhaps if you were marooned on a desert island near the equator, it would be useful, … if there was also cellphone coverage there …
